Soon after moving to Berlin in 2008, Manuel Münster started to experience the German capital's rich electronic music scene firsthand. Working his way up as DJ by starting to play at small parties and bars, he eventually become a regular at Tresor in 2011. In 2013 he started hosting his own parties called "Escapism", which turned into a record label co-run by himself and a close friend of his in 2016. His sets reflect his perception of the world surrounding him. Oftentimes bleak and repetitive, it's Manuel's focus on groove as the key element that gives his sets their allure.
